Important candle information.

The first burn is the most important.

When lighting a candle for the first time it is important to allow the candle to melt the wax to the edges of the container. If the wax is not allowed to melt properly during the first burn then this will cause a memory ring and this will cause the candle to tunnel during future burns. Burn time of the candle will be reduced drastically and the fragrance of the candle also affected.

Before relighting a candle it is important to trim the wick, this is to minimise soot and to get rid of any mushrooming of carbon that happens during burning.

Always burn candles safely, ensure that they are on a flat surface, not surrounded by items. Keep out of the way of draughts and has time to completely cool before handling.

It is recommended that a candle is burnt for no longer than 3-4hours at a time, extinguish the flame carefully by using a candle snuffer.

Never leave a candle unattended or out of sight.

Wax Melts.

When using wax melts for the first time, its important to ensure that all packaging has been removed and that a suitable amount of wax has been broken off and placed in the burner. Do Not over fill the burner well. It is important to remember which burner is suitable for what wax melt, oil, granules it is you want to use.

It is again recommended that a burner is used for no longer than 4 hours at time due to the burner overheating and becoming a fire hazard.

Never leave a burner unattended or out of sight.
